Russian President Congratulates HSE
Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulates the Higher School of Economics on its 25th anniversary.
Dear friends,
Congratulations on the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Higher School of Economics!
In recent years, the university has proven itself to be one of the country’s leading educational institutions, and today it rightly enjoys its prestige as a recognized centre for progressive ideas and innovative approaches to education and research. The university trains highly qualified specialists, whose expertise is required in business, civil service, the social professions and in other areas.
It is important for the university’s staff to concentrate on fundamental research and work productively as analysists, experts and consultants – including for government agencies – and that they promote international ties and exchanges.
I strongly believe that HSE will continue to evolve dynamically and make a considerable contribution to developing the best traditions of Russian higher education.
I wish you success and all the best. Congratulations!
V. Putin
