HSE University and RANEPA Sign Cooperation Agreement on Digital Transformation
HSE University and the Presidential Academy have concluded a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by HSE University Vice Rector Elena Odoevskaya and RANEPA Vice Rector Alexey Anopchenko.
The agreement outlines a strategic partnership between the universities in the field of digital transformation. The parties plan to cooperate in the following areas: the implementation of digital end-to-end technologies in education, science, administration and management, as well as the dissemination of best practices in IT and the promotion of digital culture. The universities also plan to hold joint events devoted to implementing digital services, systems, and platforms and sharing the results of joint projects.
Elena Odoevskaya
HSE University Vice Rector
In the process of the digital race and wanting to make digital transformation as effective as possible, universities often encounter the same obstacles, restrictions, and opportunities. Sharing experience and uniting to solve related challenges are especially important in the current circumstances. We have been in communication with our partners at RANEPA for quite some time. Our universities are old friends, and we gladly learn from our colleagues’ experiences of digital transformation and share our own. This agreement is an important step in systematising our activities. My hopes for this union are not so much related to the policies and practices of digital transformation at two leading universities with a distributed campus network, but rather to the goal of developing best practices and proposals for regulators in order to improve the quality and efficiency of digital transformation in all industries.
Alexey Anopchenko
RANEPA Vice Rector for Digital Transformation
All universities encounter the same tasks and challenges in the process of digital transformation. At the moment, import substitution of foreign IT solutions and products is a pressing issue. Timely communication and the exchange of experience between leading universities are essential to ensure that such tasks are solved effectively and quickly. The Presidential Academy has accumulated substantial experience in the transformation of business processes and the deployment of technology platforms for education management. We follow HSE University’s activities in this field with great interest and respect. The cooperation agreement between our digitally ‘mature’ universities is an important step in forming best practices and standards for the digitalisation of higher education in Russia.
